We are thrilled to announce that SmartPad has received a $50,000 grant from NEAR Foundation.
SmartPad is the first launchpad platform of its kind. Our vision is to create a multi-cross-chain launchpad, enabling participation in the IDOs launching on one blockchain while utilizing the assets from another chain. SmartPad offers a wide array of different launch possibilities to the prospective projects; we already support IDOs on Aurora, Polygon, and Ethereum.
Our recent IDO with Aurora — an EVM created by the team at NEAR Protocol, has been a huge success. Participants collectively raised nearly 700 ETH to participate in the lottery. It perfectly showcased the capabilities of SmartPad as a platform, allowing us to become the first launchpad for Aurora EVM.
We are humbled to have received the backing of NEAR Foundation, which will greatly assist us with developing the support of NEAR Protocol. We are confident that this will enable us to bring additional exposure to NEAR and invite more projects to join their ecosystem.
NEAR Foundation’s mission is to create an ecosystem for developers, entrepreneurs, and enterprises to thrive and assist the up-and-coming projects joining the NEAR Protocol via funding. We are extremely grateful for the support that has provided us with, which is going to help us to bring our vision of the MCC launchpad to life.
About NEAR Protocol
NEAR is a decentralized development platform built on top of the NEAR Protocol, which is a public, sharded, developer-friendly, proof-of-stake blockchain. It is a highly scalable, low-cost platform for developers to create decentralized apps on top of. While it’s built on top of the NEAR Protocol blockchain, the NEAR Platform also contains a wide range of tooling from explorers to CLI tools to wallet apps to interoperability components which help developers build much more easily and the ecosystem to scale more widely.
