Disclaimer: with the upcoming rework of staking, please keep in mind that this allocation system is subject to certain changes in the future.
Dear community,
Following the feedback that we’ve received, we decided to introduce a tier system to SmartPad. It is going to determine users’ allocation in IDOs, based on their total stake in the project. The main idea behind the tier system is to reward those users who have been devoted supporters of our project since the very beginning.
The allocation is going to be determined by the longevity of the stake, measured by the stake’s duration, as well as the staking amount, measured in aPAD balance. Therefore, the longer you stake and the more you stake, the higher the total allocation you are going to get.
To enter a tier, one has to own a minimum of 1000 aPADs. Every user will be assigned a certain score according to their staking data relative to the total score of every user. Then they are going to be divided into three tiers — Top, Medium, and Low. 60% of the total scores will get into Top tier, 24% of the total scores will join the Medium tier, and the remaining 16% will get into the Low tier.
Every tier is going to be assigned a multiplier, which will influence their allocation size, namely 1.5 for High, 1.2 for Medium, and 1.0 for Low. This is created in mind with rewarding the users who have been our longest and largest supporters.
This system is going to be tested during the upcoming Ariadne IDO, where the user allocation will be determined manually based on the design that is currently in the works. In the future, the process will be completely automated on our platform.
We’ve taken the holders’ snapshot, so that you may see the approximate allocation sizes for each wallet as well as their score. The whitelist is going to close 24 hours before the IDO begins, so it’s not yet finalized and you have a chance of increasing your allocation. We are going to publish the allocations every two days after this announcement so that you may track the updates.
In every IDO that we launch, we will disable the allocations limit one hour before the sale ends, so everyone who owns 1000 aPAD will be able to purchase the remaining allocation if someone didn’t buy theirs out. If you are curious to learn about the system’s technicalities, leave us your feedback and we will prepare a separate article explaining the underlying math.
