It’s time for the news update, and we have something special to share with you!
After a prolonged period of discussions, we came to an agreement with the team behind Greedy to launch their IDO on SmartPad! Not only that, but we have a couple of more low cap projects in our pipeline, and we will share the details with you as soon as we finalize our arrangements with their respective teams.
But first, let us quickly go over what Greedy is about. Their platform allows for the creation of put options for GREED token on SushiSwap. Greedy consists of several parts: smart contract for mintable GREED tokens, smart contract for NFT, web server, smart contract for order aggregation as well as the SushiSwap ETH/GREED pair. Here is a sneak peek at their interface:
The unique thing about Greedy is its aggregator smart contract, also known as ASC. At first, it aggregates and saves records of orders that should be placed on the SushiSwap order book after its deployment. Then the ETH is received by the ASC as well as the strike price.
ASC has a limited duration of 1 month period, particularly meaning that it has 6500 * 30 blocks total. When a user sends a transaction, ASC calculates the number of GREED tokens, which should be placed in the order book, and tracks the number of tokens sold.
Every order is then emitted as an ASC event, containing order ID, timestamp, user address, strike price, and the umber of tokens sold. It even has the potential to mind NFT tokens for every recorded order. This allows for the more efficient order aggregation to reward the users of Greedy.
We are thrilled to help Greedy launch from the ground up and grateful that they decided to select us as their launchpad.
We would also like to extend our thanks to every member of our community who has been patient with us and believed in our project. We might have been off to a rocky start, but will keep delivering on our promises, and bring many more exciting things to SmartPad!
On a side note, a lot of things have changed behind the scenes, and we’ve had some internal restructuring to do. However, we are confident that this will positively impact the project in the long run and allow us to further benefit SmartPad community members.
